Headed up a team to develop software applications to aid in the dissemination of information to the interested parties of a multi-million pound research project into Computer Vision and Medical Image Computing. These parties include charities and public information campaigns to the researchers themselves.
The project entailed the creation of numerous portable web- based tools that could be reused in several different applications with minimal modification. This was particularly challenging given the limited power of web browsers. There was also considerable development of streaming technologies (Java) for use in online training and presentation applications via the Internet.
